Titleist’s Golf Performance Assessment - $220

As seen on Golf Channel’s Fitness segment led by Dr. Greg Rose, Marc offers the same testing of your body’s ability to generate and transfer speed in your golf swing. The test will pin-point restrictions in your swing that correlate to your ball flight and target spots of discomfort or pain experienced when golfing. Your fitness program will then be designed and supported by the Titliest Performance Institute Pro site and the software it offers.  This assessment will identify what you need to work on in order to help you gain more power and correct faults in your swing.

K-Vest 3d Motion Capture Swing Analysis - $220

K vest is a powerful 3D motion capture platform that accurately analyzes the 3D motion of a golfer’s swing. Capturing swing efficiency via the kinematic sequence allows golfers to view their key bio-mechanical information such as posture and X factor. TPI 3D quickly compares your selected swing to the world’s best PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour players. K-Vest 3D sensors measures swing efficiency, power and instantly identifies physical and functional limitations affecting your movement and performance. The results will allow us to implement customized bio-feedback drills and test and re-test your kinematic swing sequence.

The selective functional movement assessment - $220

The Functional Movement Screen is the gold standard and is widely used across professional sports for its accuracy in predicting injuries on and off the field. This test grades and documents your body's essential movement patterns. Any dysfunctional movements will be pin-pointed and further explored to establish the mechanisms of your symptoms or injuries. Utilizing Titliest Performance Institute’s corrective exercises with video demonstrations,

Eighty20 will efficiently restore sound bio-mechanical patterns for your body's movement. Eighty20 will also work closely with your chiropractor, physiotherapist and health practitioner to provide an integrative team approach to your performance.

junior golf fitness - Prices vary

Eighty20 maximizes the physical development of the aspiring junior golfer. Our Junior golf fitness stream focuses on developing strength, power, flexibility and fundamental movement skills that contribute most to an athletic golf swing. Exercises such as, skipping, throwing, striking, sprinting and jumping, relate directly to power development in the golf swing. These skills are essential for a junior’s long term athletic development and to maximize their genetic potential.

Eighty20′s blueprint for junior success follows Canada’s Long Term Athletic Development Model (LTAD). LTAD is the premier model adopted by the Titleist Performance Institute and many other countries to cultivate olympic athletic standards. One, the LTAD lays out the training guidelines based on a youth’s biological age. Second, the LTAD integrates how and when physical development coincides with sport specific development. Most importantly the LTAD strives to cultivate self-aware athletes that identify progress-based goals as objective markers for success.

Eighty20 junior golfers receive Vancouver’s elite golf fitness service. Their swing will be measured and remeasured with K-Vest 3D motion capture. The K-Vest 3D motion capture system provides their golf pro with insights into how they generate power also while mapping out postures in their golf swing. In addition, Titleist Performance Assessments and Fundamental Movement Screens are utilized to identify physical strengths and weaknesses that relate to golf and athletic ability. Collectively, these test provide objective data to track and measure their progress. Eighty20 builds for the junior an individualized at home workout program that links physical development with golf specific movement practice. For juniors wanting hands on work, Eighty20 now offers seasonal semesters of group fitness.
